Progress towards MDG5: Explaining the reduction in maternal deaths in Bangladesh
Towards 4+5 Briefing Paper, Chowdhury ME, Wolfe R, Ahmed A, Haque NA, Quaiyum MA.

A new Towards 4+5 Briefing Paper identifies the factors that have contributed to the decline in maternal mortality in Bangladesh between 1976 and 2005. It also shows actions that are needed to further reduce maternal mortality.
